Zinc Finger Homeobox protein 4(ZFHX4) is an important transcription factor.ZFHX4 transcripts were expressed in adult human brain, liver and muscle, as well as in differentiating cells and myoblasts, suggesting it may be involved in neural and muscle differentiation. Diseases associated with ZFHX4 include Ptosis, Hereditary Congenital 1 and Congenital Ptosis.An important paralog of this gene is ZFHX3.
